Move Mountains

Pastor Phil challenged me this week by asking us to pray everyday from now until the end of Lent for just one thing in our life that seems as big as a mountain that needs to be moved. One thing immediately came to my mind that I fully admit I feel like it is the size of a mountain and haven't had much faith that it can be changed. What I find so comforting and makes this seem attainable is that all I need to do is bring it to God every day, and just ask him to move it. I don't need to ask him how to move it, when to move it, just to move it. Mark 11:22b-23 says "Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass, he shall have whatever he saith." I am excited to see what God will do with this mountain.

Wow, what a thought... I have more time here to concentrate on prayer ,no interruptions. I love to look out over the ocean and see the vastness and know that our God is a big GOd and he can move mountains.... living here has shown me how to really worship the Lord.
