I love little unexpected surprises, they make life interesting.
At church on Sunday, I turned around to see one of my four best friends from high school, yes high school, smiling at me . Kay and her family have been coming to our church for 6 months, but usually come to the second service, and we go to first service. She is still as sweet and adorable as ever. It has probably been a good 15 years since I have seen her, it could be fun getting reconnected.
Then on my way to work today, I saw a HUGE turtle, it looked completely out of place.... I did a double take. Hopefully he made it across the road, that seemed to be the direction he was going. I may be able to tell you after I go home today, it was a turtle after all.
Garret's baseball team heads to the second round of state championships tomorrow. He and a couple of his friends from the JV team were selected to move up to Varsity for playoffs. It's been great for him, yeah Garret!
Vacation is only 9 days away..... I am trying to hang on. I cannot wait to plop on the beach, read a good book, and soak up some sun.
