Snow Globe

Remember when I was lamenting about the picture on my November calendar? Well, today we are getting snow "showers" as they like to call them. It looks like a snow globe outside, the snow is falling up, and around, and down. That is actually a good description of how I am feeling in my life right now. All things seem all shaken up. I feel anxious on so many levels and know that I am not trusting in God when I allow those feelings to creep into my life. I am thankful for my sweet husband who went to the car wash late last night to clean off the berries that fell all over my car yesterday when I was parked at work, from a tree that is shaking off the last remnants of fall, and pulled my car to the top of the driveway this morning, turned on my heated seats, loaded the things I needed to take to work today, and walked me out so that I wouldn't slip outside. I am thankful for the wonderful friends I have here at work, who know I am not a fan of winter and help me laugh and make my days brighter. I know that soon the snow globe that is my life right now, will settle and be still just like a real one after it sits and rests awhile.
