Workin' the Crowd

This is the face I make when I want something. It works 99.9% of the time.

I have been at my forever home five days now and I am feeling more at home everyday. I won't lie, I missed my pals at my foster home and wasn't sure about my new people at first. I gave alot of sad eyes and just kind of played it safe for the first couple of days to see how things would go. My new family thinks I am super cute and keep petting me and talking like I am the best thing since, well Tucker. Last night when I got out of my crate I thought I would let them hear my bark and do a little running around so they could tell I was pretty happy to see them. They said I have a bloodhound bark, that would be a cousin of mine. I have a deep voice, I can't deny it. I am getting better everyday walking on a leash. I like to make my people happy even though sometimes I get ahead of myself and do something a little naughty. Last night I jumped on the counter and licked the butter dish. It was there and I wondered what it was, so I did it. I don't think I was supposed to do that. My people tried to give me carrots and bananas because Tucker loved them but me, not so much. I do love cheese though. MMMM. I think I may have revealed my weakness. Me and my new family are getting along splendid. Today, they brought home a toy for me. A stuffed raccoon. You have to know that that got me pretty excited. It feels good to be loved.
